About Us

Since its inception in 2006, the Tufts Energy Conference (TEC) has served as a dynamic forum for cross-border and cross-sector discussions on pressing energy issues. TEC seeks to convene speakers, students, and professionals from a variety of disciplines to provide complementary and contrasting views on a wide range of energy topics. This vision is informed by a rich appreciation for the necessity of such dialogue to promote meaningful solutions to the challenges facing the energy sector.

The Tufts Energy Conference is organized by a diverse mix of Tufts undergraduates and graduate students from The Fletcher School for Law & Diplomacy, the Urban and Environmental Policy & Planning program and the School for Arts, Sciences & Engineering. TEC traces its history to the establishment of the Tufts Energy Forum, an initiative of the Tufts Institute for Global Leadership. TEC now receives support from a variety of partners including corporate sponsors, promotional partners and student groups, departments and institutes across Tufts University.
